Kasteeltuinen Arcen (Castle Gardens of Arcen) is in the small, picturesque village of Arcen. Situated directly on the German-Dutch border near Venlo. It is probably one of the best gardens you’ve never heard of. Furthermore, It is enormous and includes garden inspiration from all around the globe. As a matter of fact 32 hectares full of scents and colours, unique gardens, historical parks and a 17th century castle. The garden hosts events, activities and music performances on a regular basis. As a matter of fact, the Castle Garden Arcen is a project of the Stichting het Limburgs Landschap (Limburg Landscapes Foundation).  Many different parties fund the foundation. As a result it manages 8300 ha of natural landscape distributed over 70 areas, dotted with castles, historic farms, and water and windmills.
