Oserian Flowers LTD is one of the largest exporters of roses into Europe. The name Oserian comes from Maasai word serian, which means “to be at peace”. In 1969 Hans Zwager – a Dutch World War II Marine founded the company. Oserian Flowers gradually evolved into a cut flower production farm in 1982. The farm is on the shores of Lake Naivasha. Nowadays, the company produces 350 million stems ever year and employs almost 5,000 people. As a matter of fact, our company grows a wide variety of flowers including Roses, Carnations and Gypsophila. We export all over the world to the UK, Europe, Middle East, US, Japan, and Australia. Part of the farm is given over to a 7,280 hectare wildlife sanctuary. In this sanctuary live endangered species such as Rhinos, Zebras and Cheetahs.

In 2018, the Federation of Kenya Employers awarded Oserian Development Company, Kenya’s largest grower and exporter of rose flowers for their achievements in the horticulture industry. Namely: innovation and productivity, responsible business conduct, commitment to people and planet through sustainable flower growing practices. As well as: investment in staff welfare and ethical production of world class flowers.

In fact, we are most popular with our roses. We have over a dozen beautiful varieties for you to choose from alongside pretty bouquet flower-fillers, like vibrant pink carnations and crystal blue statice. We can even pack an assortment of bespoke bouquets for you here on the farm. We’ve dedicated 50 hectares to traditional varieties of roses. So we cover the full colour spectrum. In addition, we can offer you our special collections: our classical ‘English Garden’ roses, our Premium roses with long stems and large blossoms, and a selection of Pastel varieties with soft, sought-after hues.
