Whether you are looking for classic standard trees or for an exclusive, multi-trunked specimen to lend cachet to a garden or park, you’ll always find just what you are looking for at Joos Tree Nursery. ‘It’s true to say that we have two distinct specialities, and they complement one another perfectly’, explains director Charles Van Tieghem. ‘As well as a unique selection of specimen trees, we also offer a wide variety of standard trees, as well as pollard trees, hedging, fruit trees and specimen shrubs.’

Fascinated by trees, Joos Van Tieghem founded the nursery in 1978. His aim has always been to grow indigenous trees and shrubs in a sustainable way. About 30 years later, Charles, the eldest son and a qualified master of horticultural science, creates a second tree nursery, which spurs the entire firm on to keep itself up-to-date.

What is our cultivation and specialisation at Boomkwekerij JOOS?. Nurseries Joos grows standard trees 8-10 to 40-45, multi-trunk trees 2m to 8m, fruit trees, pollard trees and solitary bushes. In Joos Tree Nursery there is a range of unique specimens too:
-Trees with a short stem
-Trees with an open crown
– And trees with a crown in the shape of a cloud
