Osvaldo Desideri started the company in the 50s. At this time the basic business was plastic houseware manufacturing. In the 70s, IDeL started to manufacture plastic pots and planters for growers and nurseries. In the 80s, IDeL srl expanded its production range. We were the first to produce decorative planters and pots that were also appropriate for professional applications. IDeL drew inspiration from Tuscany’s traditional terracotta pots.

Nowadays, the company enjoys a strong market position and relies on a sound and prestigious customer base. We export our products to a significant number of countries worldwide: Europe, USA, Asia and United Arab Emirates, Australia. With its modernond fully-automated factory, IDeL is one of the top players in the industry. In order to support IDeL production, we equipped our new factory with state-of-the-art technology.
