Rich in tradition & quality-conscious, Trees are our specialty.

Our company was founded in 1937 by Ingebret Folkvord. Since then, the nursery has been gradually expanded to what it is today.

Today, the nursery has 130 da for production, 3,500 m² greenhouse, 5,000 m³ storage room of which 2,000 m³ cold room. In our nursery we produce: Trees, Shrubs, Conifers, Alpine roses, Perennials Roses. As well as Climbing plants and Fruit & berries.

Nowadays, Folkvord Planter is primarily a total supplier of plants to landscape gardeners, municipalities, contractors, garden centers and other nurseries across Norway.

We have developed a good system for packing and transporting of larger trees. Such a system, that protects the trees well and makes them easy for the recipient to handle. We have good logistics. In fact it is very important to us that the customer gets the plants on time.

Furthermore our main concern is to supply quality plants that are adapted to the Norwegian climate.
