Ornamental Shrubs Nursery Pudelek

Our nursery specialises in producing coniferous shrubs, magnolias, azaleas, rhododendrons, heathers and heaths. This line of production is not accidental. Wet mountain climate is favourable for the cultivation of these species, and more than 100 years of tradition in planting rhododendrons and azaleas in the gardens of the region also plays a role.

After 25 years of developing the nursery the next generation has joined our efforts. In recent years we have developed, retail, wholesale and sale of young plants for further production. Our nursery is one of the largest producers of young plants in Poland. With many years’ practice and great experience in production, each year the number of our clients is growing, not only in Poland but also abroad. Every year we sell about 800,000 plants with bare roots.

In recent years our wholesale trade has also grown, with many foreign customers. Annually our wholesale accounts for about 40% of our production. We have customers from all over Europe: Hungary, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Ukraine and also from remote Kazakhstan. In recent years, we have established cooperation with several chain stores. Interest in purchasing wholesale from stock, suggested to us the idea of establishing a wholesale facility. The customer can choose plants there by themselves, without having to order in advance.

In 2003 we established our Ilowa branch near the motorway Wrocław – Berlin, an ideal place to establish a new nursery. The soil in this area is light and has low pH, which creates favourable conditions for the cultivation of rhododendrons and azaleas in the ground.
