Mr. Anastasios Litharis founded Nursery Litharis  in 1995 in Nea Redesto near Thessaloniki. Initially, the nursery started to produce olive and coniferous seedlings. The new challenges and the knowledge combined with experience, led us to the current image of the company. As a result, today we are actively involved in the production and marketing of plants.

Today, Litharis Nurseries are based in Eastern Thessaloniki, Northern Greece. You can find us in the area of ​​Vasilika (23rd km of Thessaloniki-Polygyros, before Vasilika). Our production area is 12,000m2. So, our commercial glass greenhouses with high-tech production facilities ensure the continuous production of plants throughout the year.

Furthermore, the continuous development of the company led to the expansion of production. As a result Litharis Plant Nursery produces thousands of plants annually.

We produce: Grasses, Aromatic plants, Olive trees, Bonsai mini olive trees. As well as Herbaceous plants, Deciduous Shrubs, Evergreen Shrubs,Trees and more.

Especially, we take pride in Aromatic plants, like rosemary, lavender, louiza, mint, oregano, etc. As well as superfoods, like goji berries, sea buckthorn, bilberry, aronia, etc. All other species, are available for wholesale & retail.

Agronomists, landscape architects, public and private contractors, local authorities, farmers and smallholders are all our customers.

The Litharis Nurseries operate legally under the supervision of the authorities in the sector. MSc of Agricultural Economics, Mr.Panagiotis Litharis, has the special licenses for the production and marketing of outdoor plants of the Greek Ministry of Agriculture. A great part of the plants that we offer are grown in containers.
