We are a leading producer of cutflowers and plants, breeding and cultivation.

Breeding is, besides cultivation and selling, a very important aspect of our company’s business.
By means of cross-fertilization and selection we develop new varieties. After a successful test period Kolster BV introduces the new variety for business. At present we have for more than 100 varieties plant variety rights or applied for.

More than 20 years ago we decided to specialise in cutflowers. The result of this decision can be seen in a section of our organisation that has grown in importance and professionalism over the years. In addition to our own nursery where the various varieties are cultivated, we also have our own contract growers. They grow numerous varieties of our material and under our supervision.

A combination of experience and know-how are the two elements responsible for our succesfull selling and production of cutflower material . Kolster BV is at your service to provide you all the information and support you need to become succesfull with growing cutflowers.

Kolster’s flowers and plants are traded to all parts of the world both by air and in sea containers. Parental material for cut flower products is sent to nurseries in countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Ecuador and Colombia.
