Javoy Plantes is a family plant-nursery business in France. We specialise in climbers and we are a leader in Clematis production in Europe. As a result, we offer around 400 different varieties of climbers. This number includes 200 Clematis varieties. Each year we grow around 1,200,000 plants. And this includes new varieties as Clematis ‘Sugar sweet’ a summer flowering scented one. And we try to create new, world unique varieties

In 1984, Nicole and Pierre Javoy founded the Javoy Plant Nursery, just outside Orleans in the Loiret. And in the years to follow, the nursery flourished thanks to their unique knowledge of climbing plants.
In 2010, two of their children, Marie-Laure and Benoit Javoy, joined the family business. Furthermore, they decided to continue the story of the Plant Nursery whilst developing the clematis variety. Benoit, trained in clematis production in the Netherlands, and Marie-Laure finished agricultural engineerinh As a result, they decided to offer a very wide product range. In 2013, the Plant Nursery became the top clematis producer in France and fifth in Europe. So, more than 30 years of innovation, this is our story. In order to become the top clematis producer in France, from the very beginning Javoy Plant Nursery integrated an innovative approach. As a matter of fact we made a lot of innovations within the business, whether that be technical, marketing or varietal. We work in close in partnership with our clients. So, they help us to continually tailor our service to the expectations of tomorrow’s gardener.
