Garden Center Catalunya Plants is a garden center located in Barcelona (Sant Vicenç dels Horts). It has a total surface area of more than 30,000 m2, of which 3,000 m2 are covered and 27,000 m2 outdoors. This makes us one of the biggest garden centers in Spain with the largest surface area for plants.

In 1993 Miquel Sinol decided to convert the former nursery in a modern Garden Centre, following the trend coming from Northern and Central Europe. Now the garden centre is as old as the huge Gorilla which is the banner of the Center.

At the head of the business now is Gerard Sinol. He  forced changes in the business, which the market imposed. So currently we  have a total of 200,000 plants, trees and shrubs.

Like the majority of our country garden centres, plants do not any more assume the bulk of the business. Catalunya Plants have been gaining ground in the sections of bricojardinería, decoration and pets, assuming all of them an important part of the total turnover, a trend that already had been imposed on the rest of Europe.
