We offer peat moss, bark soil and multi purpose compost. Growmoor Horticulture is a family run business. We produce peat based products, compost and custom made substrates for the hobby gardener and the commercial grower.

Since 2000 Better Growing has ongoing investments of over £2m ($4 million dollars) in rebuilding a new factory. We completed the investment with the introduction of two extra fully automated production lines. They combine with the original production lines to produce an average of 250,000+ cubic meters per annum of mixed potting soil, substrate and peat moss. All this with a workforce of 35 operatives across the business. We have peat deposits in three separate locations in Ireland of about 600 hectares and a growing workforce. So, Better Growing Limited aims to supply compost to the trade and public for many years. Furthermore, we strive to be the leading compost supplier across Europe in the very near future.

Today Better Growing is at the leading edge of production techniques. We create consistent quality products for garden centres, multiple store groups, professional growers and important world export markets. The company received as a award, the significant ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance registration. This to underpin its real commitment to assured quality and service levels.
